Location - Remote, Cape Cod

Salary - $20/hour - Part time

ABOUT COASTAL BRAHMIN

Coastal Brahmin is a coastal lifestyle brand.  Launched in May 2022, Coastal Brahmin's collection is mainly hand block printed summer dresses, kaftans, and linens that embody chic coastal style. Our Cape Cod inspired clothing and home decor items are designed for women who value high quality, ethically produced, sustainable fashion at reasonable prices.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Support Designer in creating Illustrator sketches; prepare designs for line review; prepare line sheets and update as necessary
• Assist in developing flat mechanical sketches for design development packages (to technical design and overseas)
• Support the creation of garment construction pages and tech packs

ABOUT YOU

• Either a rising Junior or Senior currently enrolled and attending an accredited college/university studying Fashion Design or a related field or Recent Graduate (during Summer 2024) to be eligible to participate
• Must have strong computer skills experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented and deadline driven.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Creative thinker with an acute eye for detail.
• Strong industry knowledge and passion for sustainable fashion.
• You’re direct and considerate in an effort to achieve the best possible outcome. Your feedback is always intentional, constructive, and to move the business forward.
• Must be familiar with Coastal Brahmin’s aesthetic and have a passion for their lifestyle and look.
• Preferably lives in driving distance to Cape Cod but not necessarily.
