Hyannis Photo Shoot

Hello Friends,  This year’s photoshoot took place in Hyannis, MA. This charming village, located on the coast of Cape Cod, is best known as the gateway to the islands but it has so much more to offer.

Hyannis has one of the best marinas on the East Coast. The Hyannis Marina offers a variety of boating activities, including fishing charters, sunset cruises, and boat rentals.  It’s the perfect way to explore the beautiful coastline of Cape Cod. You can also watch the commercial fishermen bring in the catch of the day. Hyannis Harbor Hotel is right across the street and perfect spot to stay overnight when you are catching an early ferry to the islands or vise versa.  You can also spend a few days there and check out all of the activities mentioned here.

Hyannis has some of the most popular restaurants on the Cape.  Including Anejo (be sure to sit under the beach tree in back) for Mexican, Baxter’s for fried clams, The Black Cat Tavern and Spanky’s for lobster rolls, The Naked Oyster for … oysters!  Pizza Barbone and Palio compete for best pizza, Pan D’Avignon for French and Colombo's for Italian.  Plus be sure to check out the cafe’s especially Chez Antoinne and Bread and Roses (all vegan!).

Downtown shopping is geared more toward tourist souvenir’s but you can also find some cute shops for clothing and homegoods.  It’s always fun to pop in and out of the shops on rainy days or before dinner.  Some of the cutest shops are the artist shanties on the walkway to the water and at the marina.

If you're interested in museums, Hyannis has a few options to choose from. The John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum is a must-see for history buffs. This museum showcases the life and legacy of President Kennedy and his family's connection to Cape Cod. The Cape Cod Maritime Museum is another great option. This museum explores the maritime history of Cape Cod and offers exhibits on boat building and navigation.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.  I hope I gave you a few suggestions.  If you have any questions about the products or about Cape Cod feel free to send me an email at michele@coastalbrahmin.com.
